September 2026: Ispire Technology Joint Venture Unveils IKE 2.0 to Drive Continuous Compliance Beyond the Point of Sale
IKE Tech, a Joint Venture between Ispire Technology, Touch Point Worldwide (d/b/a Berify) and Chemular, has launched IKE 2.0 – a next-generation compliance infrastructure platform designed to maintain continuous accountability across the entire lifecycle of regulated products. Traditional regulatory checks stop at the retail cash register, leaving manufacturers and authorities with zero post-sale visibility into product authenticity, user eligibility, or local regulatory adherence. IKE 2.0 closes this critical compliance gap by linking verified user identity, authenticated hardware, and real-time policy controls directly at the point of use.
Protected by 11 issued patents, the platform connects four core infrastructure layers:
1. Person Layer: Uses on-device biometric processing to generate secure Human Identity Tokens (HIT), protecting consumer privacy while satisfying SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and CCPA standards.
2. Product Layer: Integrates low-cost NFC tags or Bluetooth chips for end-to-end supply chain traceability and anti-counterfeiting.
3. Policy Layer: Enforces location- and age-based access rules, enabling features like automatic geofencing around restricted zones.
4. Intelligence Layer: Delivers real-time operational telemetry and analytics for compliance oversight.
The launch builds on IKE Tech’s regulatory progress with the U.S. FDA, including the 2025 acceptance for review of its standalone PMTA for age-verification technology. In controlled human factors testing, the technology achieved 100% effectiveness in blocking underage device activation while maintaining a 91% adult ease-of-use rating.
By combining Ispire’s hardware manufacturing expertise with IKE Tech’s continuous compliance architecture, Ispire aims to provide global brand partners with a fully compliant, future-proof hardware ecosystem. While initially deployed in the nicotine sector, the modular technology is designed for seamless expansion into cannabis hardware, pharmaceuticals, and other age-restricted consumer categories.
September 2026: Ispire Technology Reports Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2026 Results
Ispire Technology reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, highlighting a significant turnaround in the fourth quarter despite full-year revenue declines. In Q4 FY2026, revenue reached $26.7 million, marking a 33% increase year-over-year from $20.1 million in Q4 FY2025 and a 43% sequential increase from $18.7 million in the previous quarter. Gross profit for the quarter was $1.7 million with a gross margin of 6.3%, down from 12.3% in the prior-year period due to inventory impairments. Operating expenses, excluding credit losses, dropped 28.6% year-over-year to $6.0 million, reflecting a leaner cost structure. Legacy credit loss expenses stood at $9.2 million compared to $9.7 million a year earlier. The net loss for the quarter narrowed to $13.8 million, or $0.24 per share, compared to $14.8 million in Q4 FY2025, while the Adjusted EBITDA loss improved to $2.3 million from a loss of $4.4 million.
For the full fiscal year 2026, total revenue was $96.0 million, down 24.7% from $127.5 million in fiscal 2025, driven primarily by lower U.S. cannabis vaping hardware sales, reduced European vaping product sales, and a slight dip in non-China Asia-Pacific markets. Full-year gross margin contracted to 12.8% from 17.8% due to product mix shifts and inventory provisions. The full-year net loss improved to $33.2 million, or $0.58 per share, compared to $39.2 million, or $0.69 per share, in the previous fiscal year. Operating cash burn improved drastically by $6.8 million, with net cash used in operating activities narrowing to just $0.57 million from $7.4 million in FY2025. The company ended the fiscal year with $19.3 million in cash and cash equivalents.

Growth Catalysts & Addressable Market:

Financially, revenue declined to $18.7 million from $26.2 million in Q3 2025 and $20.3 million in Q2 2026. The year-over-year decline primarily reflects the company’s strategic shift away from lower-quality cannabis business. Sequentially, revenue declined 8%, which management described as the smallest second-to-third quarter decline in company history despite seasonal disruption from Chinese New Year-related factory shutdowns.
Gross profit declined to $2.0 million from $4.8 million in Q3 2025 and $3.5 million in Q2 2026. Gross margin fell to 10.7% from 18.2% a year earlier, primarily due to approximately $2.2 million in one-time product returns associated with legacy cannabis customers with whom Ispire has ceased doing business.
Total operating expenses excluding bad debt expense declined 36% year-over-year to $5.9 million, compared to $9.3 million in Q3 2025, and decreased modestly from $6.1 million in Q2 2026. Bad debt expense totaled $5.6 million, down $0.5 million year-over-year but up $1.4 million sequentially.
Net loss was $9.5 million, or ($0.17) per share, compared to a net loss of $10.9 million, or ($0.19) per share, in Q3 2025, and a net loss of $6.6 million in Q2 2026. As of March 31, 2026, Ispire reported cash of $18.0 million and working capital of $0.9 million.

May 2025: Ispire Technology Receives Interim License for Nicotine Manufacturing in Malaysia
Ispire Technology received an interim license from the Malaysian Government for the manufacturing of nicotine products. This is the first and only nicotine manufacturing license issued in Malaysia. Ispire expects the final license to be approved in the coming months.
Ispire will increase the production capacity in the Malaysian facility from six lines to 80 lines. By diversifying the production base (outside China), Ispire aims to mitigate the impact of geopolitical factors (tariffs) on import/export prices. All manufacturing activities at Ispire’s Johor, Malaysia facility are exclusively for export purposes and no production or distribution of any nicotine- or cannabis-containing liquids or gels will take place within Malaysia and for export. The facility produces semi-finished vaporizer hardware only and Ispire products integrate blockchain-based age-gating and geo-fencing technology, ensuring use is restricted to adults and compliant areas. Ispire’s patented technology has been submitted for review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
While the facility is capable of producing certified components, no medical devices are currently manufactured. Any future activity in medical devices would follow a comprehensive regulatory review. With an investment target exceeding $50 million, Ispire aims to position the Malaysian facility as a premier manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia.
May 2025: Ispire Technology Announces the Appointment of Jie Yu as the CFO
Ispire Technology announced the appointment of Jie “Jay” Yu, formerly Vice President of Finance, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective immediately. At the same time, Ispire re-iterated its commitment to further streamline the overall operations; the Company reduced its workforce and ended several contractor agreements, resulting in a reduction of $3.6 million in annual payroll in May 2025. Ispire will also cut up to an additional $6.6 million in operating expenses over the next three months, bringing the total estimated reduction in annual operating expenses to $10.2 million in FY25. Ispire aims to become a global provider of precision dosing vaping technology while delivering value to shareholders through long-term sustainable and profitable growth.
May 2025: Ispire-founded JV Files a Component PMTA for its Bluetooth Chip
Ispire Technology announced that IKE Tech – a joint venture (JV) comprised of Ispire Technology, Touch Point Worldwide Inc. d/b/a Berify and Chemular – filed a component Pre-Market Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) and Tobacco Product Master File (TPMF) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) System-on-a-Chip.
This is the first PMTA submission for a standalone, interoperable, blockchain-enabled age-verification component, designed for universal integration across all vape devices. Unlike traditional systems that verify age once at purchase, IKE’s platform requires continuous, real-time verification for device access. IKE formally requested an expedited review of the application, citing the system’s potential to enhance public health. In the Human Factors Validation Study submitted with the PMTA, the technology achieved 100% effectiveness in preventing device activation by underage users, 100% accuracy in demographic verification, 91% user satisfaction with app simplicity and functionality and less than 1% user error rates (i.e. high ease of use). The submission builds on a pre-PMTA meeting with the U.S. FDA in Q4 2024, during which regulators confirmed their willingness to evaluate component-based PMTAs.
By setting a new standard for youth prevention and device security, IKE BLE technology could serve as a key enabler for expanded regulatory pathways for flavored vapes (i.e. offering adult smokers more choices while eliminating youth access). Ispire aims to benefit from both commercial sales of the regulatory-compliant IKE BLE chip and integration of the technology to own devices.

August 2024: Ispire Signs Licensing Agreement with Hidden Hills
